The best part of Book of Boba Fett was when it became the Mandalorian, Grogu and Luke Skywalker show staring Ahsoka Tano. Oh and Boba’s still here too.

I'm one of those Star Wars fans that believes Fett was never as cool as people WANTED him to be. Even in the EU he doesn't do that much. In the OT he's a pawn in Vader's game of Chess then he goes out like a cartoon character. As far as I'm concerned he never made it out of the Sarlaac Pit.

Boba Fett was cool for being a space *mercenary*. Disney brought back the character as a space version of Marvel's Kingpin and then used half of the series to tell Mandalorian stories. The stories that did focus on Fett forced him to be paired up with Cyborg Chun-Li, stuck on one planet, and the politics of being Kingpin. Who asked for any of that? He should have stayed dead. They cant even retcon the series as non-canon and say these were Fett's dying dreams in the pit, because he interacted with Mando.

I feel like the character shouldn't be ignored and should return; however, if/when he does return, they should rarely igknowledge the series and just keep him as the side character that he's been. In other words, he shouldn't be scrapped but he shouldn't have the spotlight or at least not for to long.

They did a show for kids instead of making it for fans. They lost me the moment I saw one of the colorful speeder gang jump 360 turn and then shoot like this was a high school musical.

He'll be in the Mando movie but they botched his whole character in Book of Boba Fett and Morrison deserves far better.

I think the best thing for them to do is have Boba Fett die in the thrawn movie, make it a noble sacrifice thing & give a proper send off for the character

They ruined his character arch. They should’ve kept Boba Fett as he always been. A bounty hunter. They straight up turned him into a king of a town.

The modern Star Wars canon, which began in 2014, left Boba Fett with a relatively clean slate initially. Boba Fett is no longer a Mandalorian like his original incarnation, and it took years for the newer timeline to reveal that he escaped the sarlacc pit. 2020’s The Mandalorian season 2 brought Boba Fett back to the realm of live action, with Temuera Morrison of Jango Fett fame excellently playing the coveted role, which in turn set up his own spinoff TV show – The Book of Boba Fett. Sadly, The Book of Boba Fett left many viewers disappointed.
