I hope everyone took profits this past weekend. A bunch of crypto projects are showing big inverse cup/handle on the charts. For example, the one on Sol on the 1 hour chart shows that it could possibly drop to around $23 if the market as a whole takes a dive. Xrp could drop to around $0.41, and Ada to $0.36... Set your limit orders. Got my Ada order in at $0.3625

Sounds like sound advice. From that I could extrapolate - why not just stay in ETH - as opposed to BTC(as a 4x is unlikely).
When we say get out with your cash in hand -but to what? The yen the dollar? And those don't have risk?
A retirement fund in dollars assets unless it's 10 % interest it's negative .
If Eth dies so does Defi and blockchain built on it, and thats the brobable alternative to Usd infalationary preasure simply because thats where the creative minds are working on this issue.

100 % agree. A really good one. I don't DCA my self and have an Algorithmic deviation strategy for bottom crashes. It depends on strategy and you need to have one. Thank you Jason for your insights.

DCA is a fine strategy if you set standards when you start and when you stop.

For me, it's one of two things:

1) Am I under realized price?
2) Am I under my average price?

As long as you get a good entry in doesn’t have to be exact low or top and than slowly trail up or down whether shorting or longing with a stop loss and keeping an eye on it regularly amd also macro environment you should be ok

I was told to only DCA into BTC, maybe Etherium but really just BTC... Make your money on alts, play with them, then with your alt profits DCA into BTC.

I've found that a lot of people misuse "DCA".
For example, I often hear something like, "if the price falls below $18k, I'm going to DCA in."
That's not DCA! That's price targeting! DCA means consistent buying, no matter the price.

all the shitcoins you mentioned have breakouts as well, just don't pump as high as previous cycle. You can see macro breakout for BCH, DASH, almost any shitcoin.

i've tried dca on bitfinex once and didn't understand why people talking about it so much... i mean you barely make profits, it's not really good of a strategy
