Amazing build!!! I'm in the midst of a somewhat similar build myself. I'm using two 3"X12" carbon fiber plates sandwiched over a Turnigy Talon V2 frame. I love the exercise of building something like the "big boy companies" but way cheaper!

you have the TBS Crossfire Receiver(rx) listed, but what are you using for Transmitter(tx)? TBS Crossfire also on a Taranis?

What about Landing gears for this build? Do you have motor mounts that have landing gears on them, or maybe some retractable landing gears for the Discovery?

Thanks for your data's sharing, however for symmetry you need to leveling motor mount with whole frame because as I know those HK tubes doesn't come in stock with symmetrical wholes on each side. How did you managed that, twines, lazers, by you eyes?

Hi buddy I'm looking for some tips from people I just bought a phantom 4 pro Now I would like to try and build a drone myself. Im looking to get a longer range with he bit more speed and i just dont know where to start. Like what kind of motors would I need, what kind of transmitter I just want to be able to fly at a decent speed and get more range

Why are the arms so long, you could reduce some weight by shortening them, but I presume you have a reason for that.

Can it handle 18650 battery pack? I mean: are this motors power hungry?
