One would hope that it would negatively impact their credit score, since I a 66-year-old adult would have mine impacted if I didn't bother to pay my loans. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

We just gave Florida several billions for storm damage. You don't hear republicans complaining about that give away or when banks face bankruptcy getting bailed out to more billions but student loans is where they draw the line, why is that? If Florida has no state income tax fine. So why bail them out with dollars from states that pay their own way? Hurricanes are a fact of life in Florida. Florida needs to step up and raise money to take care of storm damage rather than constantly getting bailed out by people that don't live in $400, 000 homes.
