If it's Bloom I hope he gives his GM some power to actually make trades

I dealt with arrogant people that wore rank on their collars for over half my life ( 26 year's). Not alot. But enough to ruin your day. 🤣 The problem with arrogance is the people in question would never except responsibly. It's always someone else's fault. I believe that arrogance will carry over to next season because Mosailok won't step aside unless he's removed? So, I'm not holding my breath for another season. I believe you'll see the same people ( Moe, Girsh, Flores, Marmol, Blake and Ward ) in the same positions next season because Moe "Has something to prove." If you listened to DeWitt III's interview, he basically said that if you read between the lines? If that's truly the case I'll do the same thing I did in 2020 and checkout. Hate to say that. But it seems that what people have to do today to get Corporation's attention these day's. I hope I'm wrong because I love baseball. But I can drive 20 minutes and watch The Danville Dans or High School I will not suffer another season of watching Marmol, Blake and Ward in the dugout! Love the show and try some warm Hennessey and Honey for that cold Charlie! Work's everytime! 🥃👈🤣

Yadi can do whatever he wants?? I'm pretty sure the Cards are aware when it comes to Yadi. With Chaim being a solid pitcher evaluator, you would think he'd be aware of Yadi's ability to make a pitching staff better.

He should……Will he…..Depends on Mozeliak. I see Mozeliak arrogant enough to come back 1 more season if they miss the playoffs because I’m certain he does not want his tenure to end on a bad note.

He could step aside….But if I’m a betting man, Mozeliak will see it through….

You’re 1000% on fresh eyes. Part of this issue is that there’s been zero outside perspective for such a long time. Sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees is a phrase for a reason…..

One last thing. Cards are on track to finish where most expected. I think most expected somewhere between 78-82 wins and the potential 87-88 wins was there if everything went as planned. Pitching was there. Offense wasn’t….Cards will finish hovering slightly below or slightly above .500.

I don’t think most fans would be satisfied if Mo still in charge and Bloom being under him. Maybe they send Mo out to lead the tv future of the team whether it’s Prime, MLB, or whatever else. We all know tv rights are gonna change. Let Bloom handle all baseball operations.

Bloom was an utter failure in Boston. They were glad to fire him. Why in the world the Cardinals hired him is just more evidence the StL front office must be cleaned out, Charlie.
The DeWitts need to hire a POBO who is capable and credible at evaluating talent and in contract negotiation. Bloom could not get the right players to come to, or stay with, Boston. During his tenure, the Red Sox fell into last place in their Division. He is the wrong person for StL to hire as POBO. It would be no different than keeping Mozeliak. I have to wonder if Mo hired Bloom as a personal favor, because Bloom sure didn't possess what it took to be the top guy in Boston.
If Bloom turns down the offer, we should all be jubilant!! In my view, the DeWitts need to hire Albert Pujols for the job. He is in good standing with many MLB teams and players for trading purposes, he is very experienced in contract negotiating, he has the right personality and drive to be a winner, and fans will come back if he's running the team.

Chiam and either Terry Francona or Joe Madden. Matthews and Wetherholt join the team next season with Victor playing CF and Gorman at 3B, (got a feeling that isn’t happening). Go Cardinals. Feeling the loss already as the off-season approaches.

Roster building and decision making has been pretty bad outside of Nado and Goldy for almost 10 years and we're staying too long on both of them literally right now. Should have started selling last year when the team was even worse. Now you're not getting anything for your two cornerstones since they both got old at the same time.

If Bloom takes over, I hope he puts all of HIS people at all levels of the organization.

Hope you feel better Charlie!
