So he didn't want to participate in the dog and pony show. He did what was minimally required, in a very comical way.

I still think about this all the time and I respect him for it. I can't believe how many people kept asking questions after the first several responses.

Thank you Naomi Osaka for allowing me to reconnect with this press conference. This is a very good example of what athletes can do to protest the insensitivity of the news reporters. Freedom of the Press is too big a privilege to not be complemented by responsible journalism/reporting.
I am still in Naomi Osaka’s corner...sometimes we have to take the position of ‘breaking a few eggs to make an omelette’. She can stay her course or attend the press conferences and say “I am here because I don’t want or “it was a good game, she was an awesome opponent”.
Show Naomi some love ❤️

Notice how ABC puts 'bizarre' in the title. This further shows how sports journalists think they're gods gift to sports. They're all self righteous narcissists that won't hesitate to take shots at players character and stir up controversy if they think it will advance their pathetic career. Amazes me with how people believe who sports journalists label as being a 'good guy' or a 'bad guy' off the field. Reality is none of you know anything about these guys except for the few minutes of their lives that end up on ESPN. Whats I love about this is Lynch is actually a great guy off the field. He's probably the best player on their team in these two Superbowl runs, which makes the medias attempt to make him look bad for this nonsense even more ridiculous. Fuck the media.

I don't blame Marshawn for his stance concerning the media. The media sculptured his negative view by their negligence towards his emotions back when he was a youngster in college. If he wants to maintain a wall for his protection from the media so be it. I bet he does commercial, why because no one is going to nick pick and try to find something he said and twist it to make their story make headlines.

The bizarre part was how many questions the reporters continued to ask after they heard the same answer 10 times

I hope reporters can learn from Marshawn Lynch & Russell Westbrook's recent interviews to stop twisting people's words.
