Sounds great Ivor and a nice tribute to them. I was fortunate to have met Clem Cattini on a couple of occasions their drummer and britains top session man as he plays on 42 number one singles, one of those was for the launch of at abbey road cd, s in studio 2 and treated to live performances from Helen Shapero and the Swinging Blue Jeans a very memorable night. Looking forward to your completed lesson my friend.

Great Ivor. Have you seen the funny/tragic Telstar - The Joe Meek Story - 2008 film? (It gets shown every couple of months on Talking Pictures TV, usually round midnight.
And Wreckless Eric's song Joe Meek is worth a listen - it's full of little guitar 'Meek-isms' - as featured in Telstar.
