Which is better, the mighty B777-300ER or the stunning Airbus A350-1000?

The Airbus A350-1000 is a direct competitor to the Boeing 777-300ER. Both aircraft are similar in size, range, and passenger capacity. The Boeing 777-300ER has a higher MTOW and payload but the A350 makes up for this with its lighter weight thanks to its composite fuselage. This gives the A350 a slight edge in terms of fuel efficiency.

To me both aircrafts are beautiful in their own way. Ive been on A350-1000 but still awaiting B777-300ER. Hopefully soon. On the other hand not been on A350-900 yet but on B777 200ER

Or do you want an old 1960 design that is at the end of its life, and has been pimpt up to try and look modern. BOEING.

The 777 is currently the biggest plane still being built. That makes it interesting for long haul route with a lot of passenger (like transatlantic).
The A350 is more fuel efficient and quietter and more interesting for use less busy routes and on airports with restrictions on noise.

The A350 is the more advanced aircraft. With less power but much better aerodynamics it needs 5 seconds less than the 777 from full throttle until rotation + less fuel consumption + longer range + quieter cabin => A350 is superior to 777!

A35X is obviously a technically superior aircraft to the 773er by all means, yet we mustn't forget that the 773er was also a technological marvel when it was released. I like the 773er for being the icon of the skies, yet I would definitely ride on the A350X more.

But what you are not realizing is that the Boeing 777 already captured a large portion of the market. And it will take time for the A350 to catch up

Duh the A350 is more advanced, it was built in the 2000s vs the 90s for the B777. Still, the B777 has been an unmitigated success sales wise and has an impeccable safety record. Time will tell if the A350 can match that.
