It helps to be 12 feet tall. You can essentially drive the ball downward while hitting it below the waist

All these "confusing" PB rules have essentially one purpose, to blunt offensive capabilities. Therefore, by design and intent, reduced offensive capabilities manifest extended rallies. As a player, it's a simple matter to enjoy the game with those "confusing" rules. However, spectating PB matches can at times be like watching paint dry.

If you want to play a FUN, faster paced version of PB, just use tennis rules (2 overhead serves, no kitchen, no bounce rule, 15/30/40/AD scoring, etc).

can you run into the kitchen after you hit a ball that has already bounced? say i return my opponents serve and am running up to the net, but my opponent hits a shot just out of the kitchen. am i allowed to let my momentum carry me into the kitchen?
