The Jets have a great roster. They have the wrong coach. Saleh is not the answer. He’s an above average DC, he’s not a HC. There’s no shame in that because it’s true of many coaches. Until they move off Saleh - expect to see losses in more big games. Facts.

As a 49er fan I can tell you there were times early in the season the discipline with the Defense needed some tightening up. First 2 or 3 games in a season with Saleh as DC we had a lot of issues with either penalties or missed tackles and just played sloppy. Soon as they got back to fundamentals the Defense looked like a top 5 unit. Jets just need to get the fundamentals tightened up, up the intensity a little bit, and get their bodies ready for championship rounds. Being on the field for 38 minutes will make any team look completely gassed. Real simple easy to fix issues. I wouldn't sweat having these problems on week 1.

The DL personnel has me most concerned. There's a lot of small, finesse players that struggle defending the run. Haason can't come in and fix that. That's a worrying problem.
