President Biden will have his first face-to-face meeting as president, albeit virtually, with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. They're expected to discuss Taiwan, China's treatment of the Uighurs and economic issues. CBS News political contributor Isaac Stone Fish joins CBSN's Anne-Marie Green and Vladimir Duthiers to discuss what to expect from Monday's meeting.

XI Jinping is going to laugh at him and say the wrong pronouns about our military

I think this meeting could likely turn into a personal “dating” between the two seniors. They might bring up the good old memories when they were both VP, etc.

I am amazed that so many reporting on this are trying to make implied or open criticisms about President Biden's good faith efforts. Now, trying to negotiate with Xi, who is clearly a sociopath or psychopath given the CCP’s genocides, murders, organ harvesting from children or young students, etc., is like negotiating with a Triad leader (which reportedly includes the CCP members leading the Triads) or Yakuza leader or bankster or "Federal" Reserve leader or Mafia leader. You had better count your fingers if you shake hands with them.

Nevertheless, China has hundreds of nuclear bombs, maybe thousands by now. One nuclear bomb can ruin your whole day. They now have supersonic weapons too. Xi is this century's Hitler, or worse. Despite this, making guidelines and trying to make it clear to Xi what will cause violent reactions (e.g., a PLA invasion of Japan or the Philippines or Australia or Taiwan, etc., etc.) is a great idea.

Reportedly, if the allies had stood up to Hitler when he first started taking over countries, his own military leaders planned to remove him because they feared what would happen if when the first take-overs-invasions were occurring, the allies threatened war. To avoid war, we must arm to the teeth.

Make Taiwan and our allies, whom the CCP will try to take over one by one, per their existing claims, (Japan or the Philippines or Australia or Taiwan, etc., etc.) like porcupines with massive numbers of weapons and hope that is enough to deter XI from launching his planned invasions which may ultimately result in a global thermonuclear war. Granted. Xi is clearly either a sociopath or psychopath. However, even those people (who often like Xi become mass murderers or serial killers) can be deterred by self-interest: we must make it clear that we will make sure that he and his cronies will die first and horribly in a massive nuclear fire if there is any war.

If that does not work, maybe we can show our good faith by bombing some deserving sociopaths/psychopaths. For example, the evil ISIS/Taliban leaders could not be defeated because no one in the Afghanistan army wanted to even fight or resist them.

Pulling our troops out of such a hopeless situation, which even the fat orange one agreed was hopeless and signed an agreement to pull out with the Taliban in 2019 for a pull-out in 2020 to 2021, was one of President Biden’s most morally courageous decisions which will save thousands of young American soldiers from death or crippling explosions in the coming decades. Nevertheless, since they may engage in murders, tortures, etc., would it be terrible if a B2 suddenly dropped a few hundred bombs on one of their ISIS/Taliban sociopath/psychopath meetings and wiped them out, so we can show the CCP sociopaths/psychopaths in China that we are truly serious.

Any more appeasement would to China would be a mistake. North Korea, Taiwan, Tibet, Xinjiang and the South China Sea are all connected. Any question of Chinas intentions towards Taipei can be answered by looking at Hong Kong.

It is silly to just take away some small unknown outpost islands but will trigger the same level of response from US, etc. Taiwan island will be taken over once action is determined.
