This Could Be the Most Expensive Instrument Ever

A historic instrument is going up for auction, and its selling price could once again make history. A 1714 Stradivarius violin will soon be on the block. Sotheby's says its owners were all famed musicians who treated it with the utmost care. It's expected to fetch between $12 and $18 million dollars, and it could end up being the most expensive instrument ever sold. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

My 88 year old aunt recalls how she want to play the violin, but could afford one. So the neighbor gave her a violin that had been in the barn. Dusty but in mint condition as she remembered. She played it for about a week practicing, that is until her mother returned from a trip she had been on. The volin was promptly returned. My Grandmother was old school religon, and it was the Devils instrument. That devils instrument. And its name was Strataverius. My Aunt says only if she'd been a little older and wiser. 😂
