I used to use an exacto knife until I sliced into the most beautiful cover. Now I just make a tiny cut and rip the text block out like the Hulk! Works every time in seconds, no issues.

My suggestion is these books are going to be left to rot in a corner somewhere when we can actually bring life back to the book covers or the book pages...❤❤❤. I think it's a beautiful thing

my actual irritation is not that you cut up a book, but that it was a swedish language book! they’re so hard to get outside of sweden and it is sad to me to see the language be devalued (as someone who has learned swedish for no practical reason)
