Never thought I'd be sitting on the couch with my spouse watching a wedding video on YouTube of two people I've never met while shedding tears of happiness.

The grandma story choked me up man. 😢 My grandma got to make it to my impromptu wedding before she passed. That was sweet of her to get that pin for you. We did our wedding at the beach, with no permit we found a spot, and then my mom and Dad performed the ceremony as we were surrounded by our siblings and close family. This weekend makes 10 years. Congrats to you both, I've watched for a while. I'm happy for you both. One of my favorite channels. I enjoy watching you all on this channel.

Such a beautiful video I definitely cried at a bunch of different points. I don't know why this video got to me so much but I've been watching this channel for a number of years now-- watching the sagas of your lives together through moving in together, Gene breaking his elbow, the loss of lefty, renovating a house together-- so many beautiful, sad, funny, and genuine moments that you shared with us. I know that we are just humble observers in your unique lives, but I cannot express the joy I felt watching this video and seeing all of those moments culminate into this unbelievably stunning, heartwarming, and perfect day of love. It felt like watching two of my oldest friends getting married (in the least parasocial way possible), and it gave me hope for my life too. To believe again that someone could smile the way that Kari smiles at Gene during their vows. To have such wonderful supportive friends like Sam to be there for you every moment of the way. So many parts of this video made me cry - starting with how beautiful Kari looked to the gift of grandma's pin, the video pledging your love to Kari, the light during a hard rain, the rainbow after a hard rain to the sun shining on your beautiful day to ending it with Ticky walking again on his own. Many happy moment tears for sure!

Rain on your wedding day is good luck! Yes, I agree it always clears at the right time. I lost my wedding ring struggling in the water after a windsurfing breakdown on my wife's birthday, UGH! Still together and celebrating our 39th anniversary next month. You two are on track for a great life together in my book.

I am really happy for you. Your video made me remenesenxe my own wedding. It was raining as well and we had to make a small walk through gardens. Wedding dress of my wife was covered in mud but we didn't really cared because it was the best wedding. And I also lost a ring. But it was at least almost ten years after the wedding 😂 wish you a lifetime of happiness.
