The V10's high notes were great in the 00s, but the V12 has the most beautiful tone as an instrument.

The V12 is definitely my favorite, but I like them all, including the V6 Hybrid, I find it relaxing for some reason

For anyone thinking it isn't V10, V6, V12, V8, just search up videos of those engines and compare. Any other order is objectively wrong. You can hear the off throttle sound unique to the V6 in the second clip and the V8 is an onboard video which muffles the sound a bit, but still a V8 nonetheless. Both V10 and V12 scream with a high pitch but their tones are still distinct.

It's not fair test if the fourth sound is captured with an onboard mic. Those mics have a noise cancelling soundgate on them for a start so entirely different sound than the others which are trackside mics that pick up general ambience.

Higher the pitch, the higher the number of cylinders. Also the V6 just sounds like ass.

V10, V6, V12 and finally V8. There is simply no mistaking the absolute eargasm of the V10. That raspy, dirty sound... The overlap of the power strokes simply adds more texture and grittiness to the already awesome howl of the V12, turning a clinical precision sounding howl into a sinister, spine chilling, goosebumps inducing shriek.
