Today, I discuss the new information revealed for the next arc in the Pokémon anime/Pocket Monsters 2023/Pokémon Scarlet and Violet/Pokémon Horizons anime - Mega Voltage! Liko, Roy and Dot grow up/age, a time skip is confirmed, Freide is gone and Roy has a Mega Shiny Lucario! A new character, Uruto has a Mega Sableye!

I can’t believe Spinel framed the Rising Volt Tacklers for the events that occurred at Laqua.

I have 2 theories:
1. Mohn-like situation where he isn't home due to amnesia, but that raises questions regarding Charizard.
2. He was saved by Rayquaza and saw Spinel capturing the other Heroes, thus is on a solo mission to work against Spinel without endangering the kids. He will be found with Rayquaza.

Theory time: Amethio saved Friede and returned his Charizard to his Pokéball, got Friede to his family mansion, aided to his wounds and together with Friede, he's made it his mission to regroup what is remaining from both the Explorers (who are still loyal to Amethio and his family) and the remaining RVT members, with possibly new recruits, to re-group and found the new RVT, and pay a visit to that sneaky weasel and snake Spinel, for Amethio to take back Exceed and the Explorers

That rat Spinel had really done it: framing RVTs about Rakua destruction, capturing the Five at his disposal, taking over the Exceed. Crazy!

Friede's disappearance is kinda unfortunate though, never thought I'd see the day where a character meets an unexpected tragic event

About the timeskip, it's good that only one year had passed, otherwise, if it takes 2-4 years without any development, that'll be mid as heck

Pokemon Horizons will probably be my favourite series of all time! It's already so good and we aren't even in the final arc yet! We have a whole season and a time skip as well. It will be crazy the final clash between the gang and Spinel with The Explorers. Also Spinel having access to the 5 heroes will be crazy as well! In general Spinel is probably the greatest villain we ever had

The episode itself implies that Friede is alive since Captain Pikachu hasn't turned wild yet, unlike the 6 heroes who started to act up once Lucius was gone, even before being exposed to Rakurium.

First off, this week's episode was such a crazy end to the "Rayquaza Rising" arc and obviously to _Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 - The Search for Laqua_, especially since we finally got a timeskip in the Pokémon anime. Lucius and Gibeon passing away in a manner similar to Sir Aaron's Lucario from _Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew_ made me very emotional, and I knew that Spinel was the true villain of Pokémon Horizons, especially since what he just did made me hate yet love him even more. Also, unless we see bodies, I refuse to believe that Friede and his Charizard are dead. Overall, I give this episode a perfect 10/10.
Second, the teaser and poster definitely got me hyped for the "Mega Voltage" arc. Also, while the teaser confirms that Spinel has captured most of the Six Heroes, I think Lucius' Rayquaza is the only one left that he has yet to catch.

Since the six heroes are wild again, i wouldn´t be surprised that Roy will catch Rayquaza( Maybe even Mega evolve it). And that he will start searching again for the six heroes. Would be nice if Roy Dot and Liko would receive each 2 of the heroes and one lgendary for each. Friede will definitely survive and his Charizard may be able to mega evolve in a new Charizard Z. Even a Mega Dragonite wouldn´t be to farfetched (pun intended). Roy need a pokemon like Dragonite/Charizard on his squad too. Roy and Dot's starter will evolve too.

I'm thinking Rayquaza or Amethio saved Friede, Charizard managed to catch him but they're forced to lie low for the time being, or Spinel captured him and might brainwash him. Definitely curious to see which it is.

(Personally, I'm hoping for option three.)

Also, congratulations to my boy Spinel for becoming the main villain. I knew he had it in him from seeing him manipulate Gibeon into banishing his own grandson, like Spinel had that man wrapped around his finger 😂

It's been a whole journey that i watched the series Pokemon Horizons. After i finished to watch the last arc, i feel bad for Friede.. Hope he's okay though

- having the main character only have an extended family
- a villain you hate

Roy said Let's go find 'em in the preview for the new arc coming up he's either referring to Friede or the six hero mons maybe even both. That Slimy evil arrogant Spinel will get what's coming to him. I Hope Amethio is the one to do the most damage to Spinel and have Liko, Roy, and others for assistance. Spinel tarnished the legacy of Amethio's Grandfather so it's personal to him. I'm thinking Friede and zard was rescued by Amethio and his explorers Friends if they didn't make it out of Rekkua in time?
