That intro music, I feel like I'm a kid watching the goonies! Top vibes

Personally for me, I feel really good for taking them in longer sessions instead, the big difference is the 60% rocker making your it easier to toe-off and helping to hold on to your steady pace longer. Lucky I the white colorway from the limited release. I also have the SL2 as my other main trainer, which I use for shorter and faster sessions.

They’re marketing it the way they are because it’s also billed as a lifestyle shoe. I think it will be way more successful in that space over time.

I’ve tried this once with women’s size but it’s still fits well. First tried 20km relax/recovery run with this shoe and it was really fast, light and enjoyable run despite that my legs were not really good condition. A firmer ride compared to AP4. Two of my current fav with AP4.

That 80s intro music is amazing!

Another great review, thank you! Agree they fit in that Rebel v4 or Peg Plus bucket, but this is much more enjoyable to me - I have both of those shoes and enjoy them so it's no knock on them. I picked these up at the NYC expo last month and have about 25 miles on them so far. I love them for anything from slightly faster easy miles to runs with bits of pace in them (some 800m repeats, tempo, etc.). For me, they're that sweet spot of protective, but not overly cushioned or soft. Stability is not the best at slower paces so those with stability issues probably need to be a little wary, at least at slower paces.

They had them in Pro Direct but I bought Pro 3 ‘s instead in sale. Cost me the same … win

I got lucky and won a raffle for the white/black color way and they arrived yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to run in them yet. The big chunk of white Lightstrike Pro midsole gives me goosebumps. It is one sexy shoe. The fit was a bit vague in the upper so I took the insoles from an old pair of Adidas SL’s and put those in. That really locked down the upper since they are a little thicker. I’ll be taking them out for a trial run later today. Lightstrike Pro is one of my favorite foams because the more you run in them the better it gets. All I can say at this point is it’s one fine looking shoe. Now we’ll see how I get along with it.

Looks like a banger! Love that color way and well done on your socks. Will definitely grab a pair whenever they make it available to the public.

Looks more like a football boot than a running shoe imo.

I’m fed up with the hype on this shoe, I actually loved Eddbud’s video where he slapped it all down with the back of his hand. It was so refreshing to hear an individual user experience.

I’m kinda thinking the Zoomfly looks like a better version of a similar shoe.

I really like my pair. It's like a half price AP3 and has a nice, smooth feel while running.

this ballot system made me give up on this shoe... I already have the SL2 and many other shoes in rotation, so I simply don't want this one anymore 😆

I have quite a few Adizero shoes but I’m kind of fed up with the bad uppers, pointless tongues and cheap laces. I’m not sure what the point of this shoe is, when there are better daily and speed training options. The limited supply is just the final nail in the coffin and for me and Adidas.

Great review Fordy. Interesting that the reviews from people that got taken to Berlin and given the shoe for free have been very good and the reviews from the people who weren't given the full Berlin adidas experience have been more realistic. Some people selling their soul to adidas?

Great review. Would that be good for casual wear and long walks?

I wish adidas wont stop with the rubber cut out in the lateral forefoot. I tear those the exposed foam on my pro & Takumi models. Love LS Pro especially being 6’2 @ 190-192lbs, it gets better with higher mileage in my experience. I will get this shoe eventually cuz i know i will enjoy it once broken in.
Great review as always… to the point which i like

I had them and returned them, not because they were bad but because they were described as a daily trainer by many in my opinion they aren't, they are more of a speedier shoe. Slow paces do not feel go for me because 1. they are firm 2. they are very stable for me. I had the same issue with the AP3 and they feel very very much like them minus the rods. Its just not a natrual roll for me through my stride and makes be toe off on the lateral side of my foot. I don't have a problem with firm shoes, but only for speed days, i have the boston 12, which is even firmer, and love them for tempo and up days. Also my easy day pace is slow, like 11:30-12min/mile slow, so maybe thats why i can't do easy days in firm shoes. I've seen some people describe this shoe as soft and thats crazy to me lol run repeat review even confirmed they are on the firmer side. I tried the NB5 and its waaayyy better as a daily.
