I love all the many facets of Hyunjin and just how he's evolved over time.

Seungmin sounded amazing! Like I knew he would, but I was still stunned on just how well his vocals and that genre went well together.

When the song was released, Hyunjin said on bbl that "Long for you" is about missing the past when you lost your light. It's about loving everything back then. It's "talking" to your past self which was carefree and full of light and longing to be like that again, after experiencing all the hardships of life.

I'd read it before I listened to the song and during listening to it and after, I couldn't stop crying. Especially knowing how hard this past week was for him and how much he's been through. I felt as if he tore out my soul and all my emotions and turned it into this song, painted by his beautiful voice like with a brush. I was crying for like 15 minutes, listening to it on repeat. I've never experienced something like that. The lyrics, the composition and his voice made me feel so vulnerable and emotional 🥲

Hyunjin not only wrote, but also composed both songs, with the producer named Joha, who also arranged them. I couldn't be more proud of him 🥲

Also, Seungmin's voice is made for singing OSTs, his voice is like the most beautiful violin and he is a true virtuoso of it 😍

So proud of both of them 🥰

I’m the Queen in this life is actually a webcomic and this OST is a project to give some main characters a song. Seungmin’s song is from the point of the male lead Prince Alfonso singing to the main protagonist.

As a Stay I am so happy we are getting all these solo songs. I love how diverse they are and just convey different emotions. Their vocals are just all amazing. This is why they all work well together cause they are all so talented. I love Seungmin’s voice so much and how his emotions shines through his songs always and he is perfect for the OST and Hyunjin’s artistry never fail to left me in awe. His lyrics, his artwork, his voice these songs he made are short but sweet. Enjoyed listening to these songs again with you. 😁

Seungmin just continues to show us that he is an absolute ace. He is so well suited for the Rock concept in Phobia. I really need more of this from him because I’m an addicted. The way he frays his voice. The song was so grandiose and so Seungmin. I just can’t stop talking about how well he did this. It’s like the song was written for him. And you KNOW he pushed himself so hard to perfect this new approach. He really just blows me away.

Hyunjin is really growing as a vocalist and song writer. I adore Long for You. It’s one you just wanna cry through. His falsetto in that one just makes me shiver. I’m been impressed with the hard work he is clearly putting in. At one point, my breath was literally stolen away in Long for You. Yes, I could totally see the bench scene you were mentioning, Bri. It’s perfect for that kind of scene. And the track, it by itself gives me goosebumps and makes me want to sob. Throw Hyunjin’s emotional voice in there… wow. Hey you gives me a very “Something Corperate”, “Jack’s Mannequin”, “Hawthorne Heights” “The Rocket Summer” vibe. These are just 2000s indie style emo bands but Hey You really took me back there. With the filter like quality over the track and vocals, the way the song is sung. His everything about it feels nostalgic and cozy. Hyunjin is really something.

Long for you it's beautiful, I bawled my eyes out the first time I listened to it and it's still stuck in my head. He showed us he's not only an amazing dancer, rapper and songwriter. But also an amazing singer, his voice broke me in the most beautiful way 😭

Seungmin's OST it's soooo of my liking, another obsession. The vocals, arrangements, the instrumental, chef kiss ❤

I'm in heaven and I don't want to come back. Seungmin's voice is truly unique. In so many years in K-POP, this is only the second time I've seen something like this. The voice is clear as crystal, soft as a cloud, and the timbre is so sweet, solid honey, but at the same time so sensual and deep that it immediately penetrates into your heart. I PRAY TO ALL THE GODS FOR HIS SOLO ALBUM.

21:35 the fondness in both of your eyes 🥹 same. I love him very much.

Very different meanings, but I loved the lyric in long for you about growing a flower together, it reminded me of the blooming lotus analogies in D-Day and Amygdala. I’m very soft for my pisces boys

Great reaction, ladies. )))Seungmin’s vocals are perfect as always. Never expected anything less from our main vocalist. And I loved both songs of Hyunjin. The second one sounds like some summer hit: catchy and his English is no joke here. But “Long for you” is soooo beautiful starting with heartbreaking lyrics and finishing with his incredible vocals and the instruments at the end were a chefs kiss. I am just such a sucker for these short but powerful songs… I heard he said that Long for you was also about longing for himself in the past when he was more innocent and happy without dealing with all the hardships of the life. I felt like crying listening to this song and I don’t usually cry from songs. And considering he continues to deal with some bothersome stuff in his life, this song hit me even harder. Loved our Seungjin masterpieces. They did such a great job.

We're really spoiled these days. And to think Seungmin has another ost this year (but no date of release yet).
I love all 3 Seungmin ost but Phobia is hands down my favourite DAMN

I also love Hyunjin's 2 songs, especially long for you, that man only writes masterpieces and his voice is so beautiful.
I haven't seen the movie but we know it was also the inspiration behind Han's Close so it's fun to hear the difference between what Han wrote and what Hyunjin wrote not only because they have two different styles but also because each one of us has a different view on a movie

Hyunjin is such a precious artist. I can't wait to see what he may bring to us in the future.

I love how inspired by Closer Hyunjin is and although the movie has strong themes, it is such a realistic and raw portrayal of the great, the horrible, and the painful part of love. I can entirely see how someone like him who is so in love with love would be so moved and inspired by this film. The screenplay purposely goes digging for the rawest and realest of emotions to the point of discomfort. I enjoy some of Mike Nichol's films, Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf?, The Graduate and, The Birdcage being some of my faves. For something lighter and more heartwarming but that still shows the exploration of character emotion that Nichols manages to get from his actors I would recommend The Birdcage, if you haven't seen it already.

Also Closer (Patrick Marber) is based on a play, maybe you could read that if the movie is not for you! :)
