Fun Fact: This is called a trap shot if I'm correct. The Panther had a little curve under the turret to protect the neck of the turret but some shells would ricochet and hit the thin top armour.

Well you see, us Panthers may appear to suffer from being blank minded and tunnel vision in the middle of combat deployments but this is not the case. All of us Panther tanks suffer from severe anxiety regarding our transmission's short life span and the engine's habit of bursting into flames, which is why we constantly have to check the transmission if it's close to the 150km limit or if the engine is 1 degree over the limit and is beginning to bake itself. These self consultations take a while and are complicated. We are extremely horrible when it comes to multitasking which is why we have a tendency to act stupidly or be completely blind during battles when we're doing these self consultations. PLEASE, if you see a Panther tank just standing still in the middle of an active battlefield, or a Panther tank failing to see an enemy no less than 5 meters away from it please do understand that we are in constant danger of breaking down or burning. Being abandoned by our allies for a broken engine or transmission and getting laughed at by passing American or Soviet tanks is the last thing we want to happen us when we literally just came out the assembly line a few days ago and finished fighting other tanks for what little spare parts are available in the repair shop.

Yeah. That definitely seems like the armor composition of a Panzer. They’re basically like the tanks from Valkyria Chronicles. Don’t bother hitting them unless you hit them from behind.

(If anybody has seen Kelly’s Heroes starring Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland? You know what I’m talking about. “German Tiger! We got it by the ass!” As they sneak their tank up to a wall with a Tiger on the other side by free-wheeling transmission.)
