Prince William: royal family is 'very much not' racist

The Duke of Cambridge has defended the monarchy against accusations of racism made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying: “We’re very much not a racist family.” William made the comment during his first public appearance since highly damaging claims of bigotry and a lack of support were levelled at the royal family by Harry and Meghan in their interview with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey.

Neither Harry nor Megan said the Royal Family was racist! They said some people in it expressed concerns about their future children's skin colour and Harry found the conversation "awkward". Individuals within the family and such a large one as that, do not have common views about much. Some might hold "racist" to perceived racist views and others might or do not! Much the same in any family I should think!

Harry n Meghan never said the FAMILY is racist, they described how the FIRM is racist. Actually, the Firm has an issue with popular princesses who speak their minds.
Even the question to the Prince was likely suggested by the Firm to keep the focus off itself and generate more discension.
I think this interview could strengthen the Monarchy and allow for the end of institutional racism. The Queen had the perfect response and role models for Prince William how to be a great King.
