Definitely, I just bought this TL-WR702N Nano Router and it supports AP mode(Turns wired internet access into wireless), Router mode, Client mode(online gaming/TV), Bridge mode(creates 2nd network to share with guests) and Repeater Mode(WiFi Extender). This is a fantastic buy, I'm surprised how cheap it was too. :]

just bought one of these today.. All i needed was something to make a basic access point and it seems to work well.. The main thing i didnt want to add power supply so the fact this runs off USB port is nice and simple.. I am really impressed with the build quality and finishing touches at such a low price.

Great review! What is the fastest Mbps an iPad third generation will do wirelessly? I have the 64G like you, Dave, and I'm wondering what its limit is. Not sure it will do 150 Mbps!

You connect your Internet connection to the LAN/WAN port of the router and use both the laptops on wifi.

Hey dave, do you remember a while back you done a review on the devolo Dlan, I went out and bought one to extend the range of my Internet but then realised that it only works with a Ethernet wire. So I bought this and plugged it in and it works great :)

Both windows and OSX (even linux) has support of sharing wifi from an eathernet connection, if you need to charge it via your computer why on earth do you need that device... xD

Once this is set up would it need to be set up every time it is connected to a different Ethernet connection, or is it ready to use for any Ethernet connection once set up?

Could this be used to bridge sky hd box for anytime+ or would the range/speed not quite cut it? if so the price is great much better than skys £60! amazing.

I have just ordered one cos I will need it in my hotel room which has a wired ethernet internet connection. but what do I have to do exactly to connect to the web with my L/Top  after I connect this device to the wall using the cable. I mean do I use AP mode or does it have to be in router mode and then what techie info do I have to type in my laptop ie IP stuff etc etc. No one has specified this info on any review or utube channel please help anyone thanks

I have ordered this router(tp link router mini) but i will not recieve it because i have doubt about it, i have LAN connection in my hostel, each room has got a cable of internet.Since we are 2 roommates, I wanted a device to which if i connect the LAN cable, it should create wifi connection, but i think the router is quite different. In this we have to connect LAN to router and router to laptop, so what is profit? why not i should directly connect LAN to pc ? please tell me if i am wrong.
