fyi in the cave you found some nickel. There is a stalactite on the ceiling. that's nickel. There are several nickel stalagmites in the "domed" place where they want you to go. along with a couple other things you will need. Silver asteroids sometimes will give you nickel too.
don't forget about the laser miner! or the vehicle bay you got too.
reason why that blueprint didn't give you anything is cause you already had the blueprint for the big locker.

Greta work so far GE but three words: *Upgrade your Jetpack* The style you play with notiably forgetting O2 canisters and/or not building forward operating bases regularly means you needed to rely on a quicker recharge and faster propulsion speed. Ignore the shiny things and focus on that pack, or make sure you prep in *many more* O2 canisters and/or many more simple O2 built rooms to refresh as a Forward Operating base like you do in The Planet Crafter. I'm rooting for ya! Don't want to see a horrific suffocation!
That aside, keep up the fantastic exploration and hope you enjoy what the next tier will offer you! Excelsior!

In the syayion where you got the tiny pieces of nickel and the gold, there is a light colored rock sticking out of the ground (looks a bit like a stalactite), if you mine that you get nickel .
These rocks you can also find in one of the domes.
Hope i helped you out a bit here.
p.s. If you decide to make the vehicle station, don`t make the first vehicle ( the one that looks like a hoverbike) but build the enclosed one, it will give you oxygen and has a bit of storage wich you can expand with a modification.

GE there is a stalactite coming from the ceiling of the cave at 13:08 that is Nickel . I will say Nickel has been hard to come by in my run, Thanks GE you're the best!

What you are looking for is a horn like shape brownish color and I think some is down in the bubble and one flies behind the hollow asteroid with base and if you fly even further and right, use the key. there´s tons of it. Honestly, man, when you are in the cave and something is sticking from the ceiling you mine it, because it´s the damn nickel.

Once you have the laser tool and the good vehicle the prologue is over. You can quickly go to all the allowed areas and collect all the resources but there's nothing else to do (except make a giant base?).

Tools and weapon batteries can be taken out by just clicking the battery in the tool when you hit x. You just won’t have power to do anything with them until you load it back up.

The resin was purple like those other stones, check the smelter to see if it's made there.

When u used the card n found the nickel the big spike coming down from the top is nickel. There is one in the other check mark spot at well it looks like a big light brown spike

If i remember correctly, Nickel deposits were on the asteroids' with the blue force field.

The asteroids that give you silver also give a bit of nickel occasionally.

Unlimited oxygen. Carry 4 iron bars fabric and electronic part. This makes an airlock. Make it. Go in it. Breath. Come out of it full of oxygen. Dismantle it. Rinse and repeat. You can go anywhere.
