I don't understand why some are struggling with in-depth hands-on... it is what it is. It goes above and beyond a simple hands on - hence, in-depth. It's not difficult. I think maybe some people don't understand what I do. I make in-depth videos. It's even in my channel banner lol.

Yes the aspect is 18.5:9 also, the slowdowns are on the snapdragon variant. It seems exynos people are faring better. Also, there is a difference between full review and hands on review. I went above and beyond "impressions" people.

For some of the uneducated people around here who like to jump onto conclusion without knowing shit :-

1. Iris scanner is most secure technology. When Erica mentioned about unlocking the device with photo, she was talking about facial recognition. Please listen to her properly.

2. S8 has both OIS and EIS. It's just the first when Samsung put stabilization on 4k recording. If you don't believe me, listen to her again or google it.

Got my Galaxy S6 right when it came out, 2 years later and my phone is running just fine. And that's after I've dropped a 45 lbs weight on the screen at the gym. Screen is cracked but damn it held up, no issues what so ever.

I currently have the Note5. it's a beaut'. I think I've had it for over a year. it's still really fast and I really love it. I've dropped it so many times and it still shoots like a new pistol. However, out of boredom, I pre-ordered the 8+ cuz its pretty. For people that say "why waste your money on a phone?" I don't watch TV, or buy name brand clothes/shoes and I don't drink and my phone is my ultimate entertainment device. Everyone has their thing they spend money on and for me, that's gadgets like phones.

Samsung put the fingerprint scanner deliberately on strange location, so they would make you use iris scanner/face recognition...

With that display S8 looks like an year or two ahead of Lg G6 and most folks are just gonna buy this because of the way it looks and feels in the hand

If you don't want your S7 to lag, don't buy a US variant buy the SM-G935F AKA the European variant which is the best because it comes with the Exynos 8890, and the US variant comes with the Snapdragon 820.
