Quill screaming “NO!! NOO!!!” really broke me. Chris did a great job acting this. He already lost Gamora, his mom, his dad, and Yondu. There was no way his best friend was next.

God, Chris Pratt's acting is so good. I love how Quill sounds almost like a child, if that makes sense. I can only imagine that he's thinking back to when his mother died.

My cousin watching this in theaters and I was just traumatized at what I witnessed. It reminded me very much of losing my grandma staying by her side to hear her last words knowing she practically raised me. This movie is fantastic, it’s not often a movie makes you feel this way

This is one of many scenes that set in stone Chris Pratt as an actor. I already loved him before his Marvel work (parks and rec is a banger), but him as Quill is so damn good. The emotion he shows here is next level, never fails to get mine stirring🎉

Starlord screaming over Rocket's apparent death nearly got me, didn't expect that from a Phase 4 Marvel Movie honestly.

I remember a lot of people criticized Quill for attacking Thanos after learning about Gamora’s death but no one could say it wasn’t consistent with his character in the movies.

Quill doesn’t handle loss well. From running away from his mother’s death, to shooting Ego, to desperately clawing while Yondu dies, to lashing out trying to bring Rocket back to life.

Quill does not handle loss, he’s felt powerless each time it happened before and now, he fights it tooth and nail.
