Audi 80 Competition Quattro - Analogue nostalgia

This 1.8 turbo powered, slightly tuned '94 Audi 80 got us thinking about the whole brand of four intersecting rings. How did their huge involvement in motorsport effect their road going passenger cars? And has their retirement of many major racing series effected the new model range of "olympic-Volkswagens".

While both old and new have their pros and cons, we just had to hoon around the wintery Finnish roads in search of a metaphor...

Just stumbled on this……great video guys had a few audi 80’s over the years my first 84 audi sport then a cple in the early 90’s just getting through my aircooled 911 phase now on the lookout for an early 90’s s2 …. Old quattro's are what exites my pants, they are somehow far more intresting for me than frances and ricers. So good video and goin to right direction with cars👍😊 Everybody can/try to do vids with new cars, but those old'ish modified "carguy" things are great. I know Finland is full with interesting project cars so hopefully we'll see them more in your videos at the future 👍

Audi 80 Quattro Competiton there was no turbo engine was ONLY 2.0 16V. Only 2, 500 pieces were produced .

I do not know. I just love the Audi cars from this era, especially the 100 C4 and 80 B4. Even they have some flaw in different angle of perspective, I still in love with them and this Audi 80 Competition is no exception either.
I am sure that interior materials of Audi 80 B4 is far better than Audi A4 B5. If it was in cold weather country, there probably no issues. But for tropical weather where I live, the Audi A4 B5 console material starts to something like melt and sticky when the car is more than 10 years old.

Anyway, I thank you very much for this review and the model you drive is definitely rare and hard to be found.
