Hello from Brazil! I've been reading an abridged version of the Mahabharata and Bheema is my favorite! He is a bit arrogant sometimes, but his courage and devotion to his family really earned my respect. I hope I can read the full version of the story someday!

According to original Mahabharat scripts bheem runs as fast as a lightning. He catches arrows before they strike him and throw them back. He is the one of the rarest warriors like bheeshma, drona, karna who could use all weapons at same expertise. He is a good archer too. He is the only warrior in Mahabharat that smashed a chariot with horses with single slap. He killed jarasandha by breaking all joints. (Not splitting himin half) He is intelligent and always reminds dharma at times to his brothers. Except saindhava no one stood against him in entire Mahabharat. He made karna run for his life two times. One time he nearly killed him by plucking tongue from his throat. Stopped by shalya due to Arjuna's oath. Soldiers near him die with heart attack due to his war cry. Many soldiers become deaf. Place where he fights always experience mini earthquake. He is also destroyer of powerful musth elephant army and horse cavalry.

His style of fighting is mainly clapping heads, beating bones out of body, smashing chariots, stomping people, mace fighting, archery, axe throwing and cutting elephants, horses into half using his sword with incredible power.

It became impossible for kaurava clan to identify body parts of that dead. People killed by bheema were lit up in a single pyre. Because there are no bodies available, only lumps of flesh and blood are seen every where in his killzone.

To recreate his war and fight scenes seperate zonre in the mahabharat should be included. Only hanuma in ramayana did fights like him.

Most underrated character of Mahabharath is Bheem. As per actual Mahabharath, Bheem is a much more important character than depicted in the tv serials.
He wasn't just physically super strong and an expert in Mace fighting... He was also an intelligent tactician, skilled Archer, and most importantly he was the most loyal and dedicated to his family and he loved Draupadi the most among the 5 brothers.
Yudhishtirs priority was Dharma and Kingdom.. Arjuns priority was glory and fame...
But Bheems priority was always the safety and well being of his family.
The Pandavas would have died before adolescence itself if not for Bheem.

सु॒तसो॑मा अह॒र्विदः॑ ॥

Just because Bheema is Vayu's son, they put this hymn as his background music 😅
