Severe Solar Storm To Hit Earth Tonight

A severe solar storm will hit Earth tonight and it’s expected to be the biggest in nearly 20 years. It could cause power issues, interrupt communications and navigation, and disrupt satellites. But on the brighter side of things, literally, you could see the northern lights as far south as Alabama. Also apparently the sun spot that caused this is so big that you can see it on the sun today if you have the appropriate eyewear.
