Skyros island

This video is shot in Skyros island and is dedicated to our friends Daria and Nicolo and their sons, who made this trip possible.
The island of Skyros is scattered at the center of the Aegean Sea and is gifted with unparalleled beauty, thanks to its wonderful crystal waters, charming coast and its wild mountains. Skyros composes a challenging sailing destination, away from other islands and exposed to the strong winds of the Aegean Sea. After we explored the island, we realized that it was worth the distance, and the strong winds we had to sail with in order to get there.
The video includes shots from the port of Skyros, Linaria, the town with its amazing castle, and coves at its coastline, that we visited. On our way back to Alonissos, we spent a night in Skyropoula, the uninhabited islet close to the western coast of Skyros.
It was a destination that will be hard to forget and offered a new dimension to the sailing area of the Sporades island!
