THE RECIPE

10% shea butter

30% beef tallow or lard

25% coconut oil

5% castor oil

17% hemp seed oil (you want the dark green stuff)

13% olive oil

Calculate to a 5% superfat

Per 500g (1.1lbs) fats:

3 tbsp white kaolin clay

1/2 tsp titanium dioxide, dispersed in ~1 tsp of olive oil

~1 tbsp hemp hearts

You can use thumb tack and masking tape to hold the paper on your molding it works perfect and I get mine at dollar tree

Hello. I am from Poland and on Polish channels I also watch films like making soap. Your shows are fantastic. I miss only one. On our channels often people who show how to make soap give the exact recipe what was added and in what amount to make a given soap. I miss this here. I think that for beginners it is also very important. Besides, it's all ok.

Just a suggestion... if you know what the weight of your pot is, you can just weigh the batch and subtract the pot, then divide the result....

Ma'am can we use hemp butter instead of shea butter in normal recipies where we put all the oils including coconut, sunflower, castor etc

In my area shea butter is very expensive where as hemp butter is cheaper...we have to put only 10% of butter
Can i put hemp butter instead of shea?? Please answer ma'am

I would like to know if you add superfat with the oils and butters together or after once you get trace. Also when you fill out the lye calculator and put 7 percent superfat would you add it or would you have to caculate it after you get your lye and water measurement. Please help.

I always thought that hemp degrades when heating. How do you still get the great benefits from hemp once it's made with hemp into a soap?

I followed this recipe to the tee. When I let the oils come to room temp the Shea butter hardened again. Would you explain why this happened? Thank you

I am not familiar with any of this, though I do find it interesting. Chemicals vs natural and what can be done. I must admit though, if you put that on a plate I would probably try to eat it. Looks like good cake.
