this is the first fifa i think i have ever played where i simply cannot defend. i feel like it almost takes no skill to score against me because my players constantly forget theyre supposed to mark up or cover space, they literally just stand there idle. i can only control 1 player at a time so how am i supposed to stop opponents just walking through my entire team.

I rage quitted the other day, exasperated at how the team just stand idle while the one I was controlling could either not tackle, or if they did tackle, it went straight back to the opponent. Lost the game 5-0. I watched this video, and followed the advice, and replayed the game, lost it 2-1 but with a much closer battle and defenders much more in control. And much more realistic! Great video and thanks for the tips!

Wow I tried your method and it works perfectly. My defending has improved just that I make mistakes in using the secondary press "O" and it leaves gaps in between four my opponents. I used to defend with legacy but I think I'm in love with tactical defending now... Thank you so much

Tactical Switch doesn't really work when you wanna switch to your CBs, switching is broken in general
