🎛️ Gear in this video

In this video I make a techno track from scratch using only Elektron Syntakt. I use many different techniques and explain my workflow in all the details. You can learn how I make techno and hopefully benefit from watching this video by learning a few new things.

If you join my Patreon you'll get access to the project "Ihor Collection for Syntakt" and will be able to try it out on your own Syntakt!

🌍 Hello World! My name is Ihor.

This is my channel where I share my experiences, ideas, reviews and tutorials related to Electronic Music Production. I focus mostly on Techno and House music. In my Studio on my Music Production Desk you will find a variety of different gear like: digital and analog synth, eurorack modular, drum machine, sampler, effect, mixer, guitar pedal, MIDI controller. Also software: DAW, Ableton, VST, plugins.

I am myself an engineer and I am quite obsessed with the Music Technology and Sound Design. I like making music without a computer. I like playing Electronic Music Live with my Minimal Dawless Setup. I love Eurorack Modular Techno and always keen to talk about the modular workflow.

I strongly believe that nothing can be better than a good Dawless Techno Jam!

I watched all the Techno Tutorials on YouTube! (I think)

📺 Thanks for watching! And have fun!

✌️ Peace.

Fun fact. 133bpm is the classic techno bpm used on many classic early 90s Detroit artists. Why? Because that’s the speed you need to cut a track to vinyl if you wish to make an endless playing lock groove loop. Accidental bonus also if you are a maniac DJ like Jeff Mills back in the day, if your records skip while mixing it won’t knock your kick drums too out of sync!

This video decided that the Syntakt was for me. And after two days of owning the Syntakt, I've completed your tutorial. Thank you so much, my version of your jam is the most polished tune I've made after coming from Circuit Tracks, Ployend Tracker and Maschine MK3.
You're a natural teacher. Great work sir!
