Kat, I used to write my daughter love letters every time she was gone with her dad. It helped me process all of the emotions I was feeling. Yes it felt like my other half was gone, but now she can read back those letters and know that I did what I had to do for her and her relationship with her dad! She’s almost 20 now and she’s my best friend!

I love that you chose to sign an NDA and I hope he did too. I’m sure with people speculating it’s tough not to set the record straight. As a child of parents who split when I was under two years old, having parents that make an effort to respect each other for my benefit even on days that they hate each other is a blessing. My dad did some super shitty things but my mom only shared with me information that I asked for and strictly shared facts without ridicule because she wants me to love my dad! You’re doing it right and she will thank you for it when she’s old enough to understand ❤️ Can’t wait to see how your next chapter unfolds!
