I think I get it now - the entire setup is based primarily on the direction of the light.

Hi I have watched this and have one question - I would assume that the whole room should be at F6.5 (i.e. this becomes your ambient) including your fill light while your main light stays at F11.
Since the entire area is currently at F11 and I can see that the main light which is also at F11 can get moved around. Im trying to figure out the function of the fill light in this scenario - since the entire scene is brighter than the fill light and will always overpower it....
