When I was camping in Cornwall a couple of years ago, the campsite had the local brass-band in for entertainment one night. They closed with a rendition of this tune and they played this solo on the fucking horns - it was bloody incredible.

Also, I highly recommend periodically texting or emailing people "Ha ha, you now have The Final Countdown in your head", because they will once they read your message.

My Grandpa who has been an avid metal head since the 60’s loves Europe. He always tells me how good their guitarist is. We saw them at Wacken in 2015 with Savatage.
