After Max came out, I finally feel safe to share a similar experience. I was playing Yoshis Wooly World and during the final boss my Tom Nook plush walked out and smashed my Wii U with a hammer. It was a traumatic experience.

Actual story! One time, I was playing punch out Wii, and I was on Sandman title defense mode. This was my 30th or so try, and I had actually beaten him, and it was playing the animation for a TKO. Then, my brother comes downstairs, turns off the Wii, and goes back upstairs. Had to redo the entire fight. (Took me an extra 20 attempts)
