⚠️ CapCut Update 4.1.0: Do NOT Update If You Use Automatic Captions Feature!

I'm a FCPX user that use CapCut for one specific feature, to create Automatic Captions. This feature is from CapCut verison 4.1.0 only on paid plans of CapCut.
So if you use CapCut the way i do, only to create automatic captions for FCPX, DO NOT update CapCut to version 4.1.0. You will then only be able to create 2 automatic captions subtitle generations.

I think I found a way to downgrade to 3.8 where it’s still free.

For Mac users (not sure if it will work for windows).
If you have Time Machine enabled. Just restore the version to the previous one. And BOOM!

Capcut rn is just like windows movie maker. But windows movie maker still better because the stabilization feature is free.

Seems like best editing apps in mobile doesn't exist anymore, i've tried kinemaster, inshot, powerdirector etc they're just same. Too bad capcut doing this. 2023 version is good so far, but in 2024 the ads are getting bulky and they cut every free features until latest worst update.

The current solution may just uninstall the app & install old version from the internet. But you'll lost all of your projects.
Alternatively, you can use current capcut and do basic editing like drag & drop if your project was in progress, then re-edit the video in PC.
