As a beginner I might consider replicating his stock/share selection under the umbrella of a Stocks and Shares ISA . 😊

Good points Pete, well done, just some details didn't add up:
Apple share in July 2004 = $0.56, today = $225.16
Exchange rate in July 2004 = 1.84 £/$, today = 1.29 £/$

(10, 000 x 1.84) / 0.56 = 32857 . . . . . . . . No. of shares £10, 000 bought 20 years ago
225.16 / 0.56 = 402.5 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Multiple of increase in share price since 2004
(32857 x 402.5) / 1.29 = £10, 251, 893 . . Current holding
Not £28, 000, 000!

from my perspective, what he has right now was a long ago investment, he is holding so to invest on that is not that wise, but if you follow what new investment he is doing that will be far better for a long time period.

If anyone wants to know more about this I recommend buying the book financial statements which expands a lot on what Pete talks about and shows what Warren looks for in companies and how he identifies companies with durable competitive advantage

No I won't be copying him, I haven't seen his whole list but I strongly believe that emerging markets will deliver at some point and they are good value for money. Again I haven't seen the whole list it it's too much USA exposed from what I have seen tbh a global index fund will most likely be a better balance but this is just a guessing game as we know
