Do What You Say You Will Do.
One of the truths about leadership and becoming an effective leader is Credibility. Merriam Webster defines credibility as the quality or power of inspiring belief or being accepted as trustworthy, real, or honest. People will not believe a message if they don’t believe and trust the messenger. Once credibility is lost with your employees or followers, even the slightest instruction will be met with apathy, skepticism and resistance. Credibility Is the Foundation of Leadership. Establishing leadership credibility must start first with Personal Credibility, which is about how others see you as a manager or leader leading your team in the organization
