I saw your thumbnail with the metal tables and I had to relay my experience. And tell you not to sit on them. I did that more than once, but the last time the leg bent. The back of my head hit hard on dining room table, a trip to the hospital no concussion, but a nice headache and sore head. Doc said I was lucky. I think God looks out for me.

You could mark matching holes in your stool and in the Quick Crete. Take off the table then put screws into the matching marks head first when dry take it out of the pan, match the table to the screws sticking up from the top and secure the two pieces with nuts on the screws.
