What are the theological and practical differences between Judaism and Christianity? And how and when did Christianity become a religion distinct from Judaism?

Paul followed Jewish law. He believed it didn't save but he followed it nevertheless. What he preached is not shoving Jewish works of the law down the throats of gentiles. He believed the gentiles didn't have to be circumcised.

When you say, "it wasn't until paul, " you make it seem like Paul and the Apostles were at odds with each other. Paul wasn't just his own sect. He still had to report to the church in Jerusalem.

And then let's not forget that Peter also preached to the gentiles. "Do not call what God has made clean unclean."

You are wrong when you say the ten commandments are no more strict in Christianity. Christians always have to follow the ten commandments and breaking the commandments is a sin and need to repent.

Paul didn't do that. The first papal convocation in Acts did that. The Church leaders weighed in and discussed keeping the law. Peter finally, acting as the head of the Church, pronounced the doctrine of salvation by faith in Christ.

That is correct. This lady knows her stuff. Christianity, as we know it today, is really a Pauline religion. Sure, the foundations are the four Gospels of Jesus. But it was Paul who built it up and gave it the structure that would dissect it from being a new “Jewish sect” into a universal belief system completely separate from traditional Judaism.

Proselytizing Gentiles isnt a foreign concept divorced from Judaism. There is nothing in the Torah or Talmud that prevents it. Theres also the case of the Idumeans.

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his SON’S name, if thou canst tell?

Actually Saint Paul had the authority from the Lord himself - same applies to all Holy Fathers

Actually, "Christianity became its own distinct religion" (at least publicly and definitively) at the time of the Bar Kochba rebellion. Until the point, Jews and Christians -- at least in the Holy Land -- kind of rubbed along together on a racial, "hey guys, we're all Jews after all" basis. But once the rebellion began, Christians were being asked to believe that Bar Kochba was the messiah, and no Christian can give that designation to anyone but Jesus Christ. That's when the definitive split came.

Christians are welcome to observe the 613 commandments. If you want to understand

I'd like to see a video on how the Jewish faith is supposed to be able to save Gentiles or non-Jews. The reason Christians believe Jesus is the savior is because most of us non-Jews are not fortunate enough to be born into Jewish customs or rituals. So what does the rest of the world need to do in order to be saved by God? Think about an African tribe that's isolated - how are they supposed to adhere to Jewish customs? Or a Burmese person living in the jungle? That's the why Christ came, as a sacrifice acceptable to God so that he can pay for our sins, vs the Jewish belief of sacrificing animals to atone for their sin.

Strange then that Paul boasted that he as a pharriser had held all what the Torah commands that the jews practised. Paul thought that the getiles should keep the few commandments to gentles. But gentiles dont need to do what is commanded to the jews. It is the same as the jews shall not do what is commanded to levites. It is forbidden for the oter 11 tribes to ex do some of the servises in the temple sacrefice. But not even Lewites do sacrefices now, after that the temple is gone. And in judaism everything was senterd arround secrafices. That is why todays judaism have changed radically, after the temple was gone. Rabbis teach that praiers and good deeds can be instead of sacrefices for sin. This is found no were in Tanak. Rabbis removed ignore that God say that "Without blood, si can not be attoned". In Tanakh they had contact with God. Rabbis have not contact with God, case "It is your sins that devide you from me", sais God. And Moses said nithingvshall be added to Gods word, someting rabbis do a lot. So todays judaism is far from the judaism during time of the temples.

Christians have some that attone for their sins, in the heavenly tabernacle, that was shown to Moses at Sinai, in his heavenly view. A king and priest, in the same way as the king and priest, Mekisedek. That s why we have contact and revelation from God. But all such shal be tested according to Gods written instruction (Torah, and not according to any oral law, never mentioned in Torah)

Now lets talk about Islam and christianity. So both said the jews disbeliefed multiple times and killed prophets multiple times, both believe jesus is the messiah and both believe that Jesus was chased down by jews how ever quran states that allah saved and ressurected him to heaven awaiting second coming and chrstianity in its current belief states he (jesus) was also chased by jews and was crucified then ressurected and awaits the second coming how ever Islamic theology states he is a prophet and christian theology states he is son of god or part of trinity or smthing (can a christian elaborate the last part I am muslim idk much about it).
