Yes clean palette, I agree! I used to think I don’t want to waste paint so I didn’t clean my palette. However after a while of trying to find a clean space and cleaning small areas on my messy palette I just decided to clean the whole palette. Clean palette = fresh start, clear mind, and avoids muddy/contaminated pigments. Trying to find a clean space on a palette was cluttering my mind and wasting my time.

I used to be petrified mixing my greens when I started with watercolor... Bought green in every shade I could find 🥲
Recently, I finally realised the potential and rid of the fear, I'm so sad I didn't just focus on the yellow blue and reds instead haha I'm experimenting mixing with the greens to make them a lot more natural but I have loooots of green to work through 😅
