In the Netherlands since ever, magnetic loops at junctions help to let you not stop or senses traffic is waiting and prioritizes busy lanes. This also counts for a lot traffic lights for bikes.

Don't see any pedestrians or cyclists taken into account. Those are (and will ever be) the only kind of sustainable way of getting around, all other means always will have adverse effects on people living around those intersections...
