I cannot stress this enough to people. IF YOU ARE ABOVE 6 FEET, SKIP SUNPOW, SAVE FOR THESE BANDS. I tried doing a squat with the sunpow bands and snapped 3 of them just pulling it up the first time with the geku bar. Bought the serious steel bands and I could probably do an overhead at 6’3” I’m just a little to nervous from the sunpow trauma😂

Been doing the gamer body workout and while I’ve passed my visible newbie gains I feel stronger after one week 💪🏽

Glad you revisited serious steel. i like the bands. The residue didn't really bother me, so it wasn't much of an issue to me. I built my own platform out of a 2x12, cost about $12 (plus i have all the tools required to build it, saw, sander, screws, etc) If I was in the market for a board I would definitely go with that geku platform. If it was available a year ago I would have bought it right away. Thanks for all the inspiration and ideas, I've built my setup largely based on your recommendations.

I got a 3 piece set of these to replace my Undersuns after the Heavy one broke. They are very good and seem to offer more resistance size-for-size, unless the Undersun just got weaker over time. I took them into the shower to wash off the sticky powder!

X3 did the EXACT same thing to me! It got better over time, probably due to residue wearing off.

Serious Steel bands are great. They often run a sale on their site so you can get about 10-15% off.

have you ever reviewed rogue, I have used numerous brands and they are the only ones that have actually held up for over 2 yrs with daily vigorous use, and not one has snapped

Serious steel is very good. I have the whole set. Like i told you before the best band I've ever used are the paraforce x3 bands but they are expensive. It sucks that you need to buy the x3 bar set first before you can order them. I'd help you get them if you ever wanted to try them.

Just for info you can build foot plate really easy under 80$ bucks that will last 3 generations. Never break never wear out bands
