This quotation was posted behind David Cook's desk the entire time I was at Rice. I have to say, I could relate to the sentiment.

In this video, I bring viewers into my experience of unpacking a long-awaited package from Istanbul, containing several facsimile editions of early Quran codices. No new content here in terms of manuscript corrections, just a little glimpse behind-the-scenes this week.

I have heard from some of you hoping for alternative ways to give (e.g. Paypal or SubscribeStar), and I will look into such alternates soon.

I picked up your book recently on Quranic variations and it was very interesting! I'm excited to see a fully published work of scholarship on this topic as I don't think there is a lot currently available to the English speaker. Thank you for the fantastic channel and information you provide!

Great videos! I recommend going to Walmart and getting a Smith's Knife Sharpener kit. It has a vise to hold the blade, guides to hold the stones at the same angle while sharpening your knives. A few minutes once a month or longer if you don't use your knife very often. Every Texan should have a sharp pocket knife!!
