Proverbs 3:13-15 says “Happy is the man that finds wisdom and gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain there of than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared to her.” Knowledge and wisdom are truly better than material riches. One last Bible quote to demonstrate: Proverbs 21:20 “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man spends it up.”

Why not pass down both? Teach your children generational skills so they can build themselves and also expand what you have built and turn it into an empire.

Why not teach your children financial literacy too. Teach them how to acquire assets, how to make the money you pass down to them grow. Financially educated people don't blow their money.

And lastly, make them earn everything you passed down to them. Nothing for free.
