OMG finally found this kind of video. I am a Japanese and used to stay here for a couple of weeks in 1985. I was the only Japanese student at Plymouth Carver High School in 1986. Thank you so much.

I graduated high school in Winthrop in 1967. What a lovely place to grow up! The beaches and "The wall" on shore drive. Used to drink beers and smoke joints there with my friends. Often would skip school and buy a bottle of Ripple wine to enjoy down the beach.

Thank you so much for filming this through Winthrop! We moved there from New Orleans in 2001 (I had lived in Boston back in the late '80s) and bought a house over in Lynn in 2013, but I always missed living in Winthrop Beach. Especially in the summer! We sold our house at the end of 2020 and moved back to New Orleans in 2021, I guess for good, but at least I can watch videos like this and remember those wonderful days that I expected would last forever. Will always consider it my hometown.
