Do the adapter arms of the controller accommodate an iPhone SE in it’s protected case, which makes the phone 9/16” (14mm) thick. I sure hate to fiddle with that phone to get it out of it’s protective cover each time when trying to fly. Do you still have to do the “DJI” dance to calibrate the compass. The Magic 2 Zoom would suit my needs perfectly.

Gratz on your new drone Irix. I guess I could go smaller than the Phantom, but it has to have a integrated screen just as big as the P4P+. If not then it will still be the P4P+ for me sometime.

I hope your gimbal stays glued, watched a couple of new vids, and people are having huge issues with their gimbal coming apart, hope it's just a fluke with a couple of these, but if it's not, dji made a huge mistake. Good luck, I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you.

I'm hoping that you won't have to mess with the focus since that was your major turnoff of the Mavic Pro. Even if you do, I'm betting you are going to like the smaller size and very decent performance of the Mavic Air. If I was in the market, I would have been a page refresh ninja like you were, but I just can't justify another drone. My Mavic Pro will have to suffice until it goes south for some reason and needs replacement. Still, I think the M2P is the best pro-sumer drone out there at this time, and I think it is a steal at $1, 450.00.

the color of the mavic makes it look kinda cheap its nothing that stands out from the last generation mavic .. no-one will be able to tell the difference between old and new .. what do you think of a clear shell ? that you would be able to see all the wiring and components to this drone .. that could be cool .. the lights would be much more visible

Give me TWO Anafi's for the same price please ! Mavic 2 looks like a big ugly heavy house brick. Parrot do not demand nosey intrusive registration details, and impose draconian NFZ's either. No heavy charger brick to carry around charging is beautifully elegant if you ain't in a rush !
