Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob Build - Handlebar Swap!

This @harleydavidson Dyna needs higher bars. The previous owner installed stock sportster bars, but included a set of 14" black bars that will make this bike just right. They aren't wired internally making this a lot easier, let's knock this out!

Do you know if panhead billy is still on the road on his bike? That bikes cool, i like it alot, its a daily rider. Put some cool leather throw over saddle bags on, awesome.

My 14 street bob came new with the round air cleaner cover, it was chrome, I had it powder coated black along with various other components on the bike.

So when I got my wide glide, I had the same problem. I actually couldn’t hit the rear brake with. It ended up being a combination of a different seat and air cleaner combo to comfortably reach

I’m not a history buff, but I believe the brass ferrule was invented to hold an eraser to the tip of a pencil and was later used to fasten bristles on paint brushes and then on bicycle cables which developed into motorcycles.

Bars look better and yes, that round cleaner looks good too. Don’t plan on taking off those orange reflectors off the forks? Asking for a friend.

I think I have those shorty bars on my fxdli.... Kinda like em.... They do have 4" risers though, stock I think.

An even easier way to take off the throttle grip is to take off the riser keepers and shift the bars over if the cable isn’t long enough

I would have to take the extra 15 minutes to run the wires internally in the bars haha but my ocd would make me 😅 i do like the cables outside though it gives it a good look🤘

Swear to god ! Wrinkled up aluminum foil and water on the pitted chrome. You'll love it.

Yup, I just checked my Dyna. Levers are a T27. Switch housings are a T25.

Try Bass and/or Bronze wool, well not stretch the surface.
