This video was very useful. I have Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 emulators on my phone. And I needed to buy a 2TB samsung drive to store my games.

This works with hdd external hard drives to. And in my case i bought a internal ssd drive ( 1gig ) and a 2.5 case 3.2 gen from amzon for 65 dollars total, that work very fast . You do have to format it to exfat of corse and speed may very but for average storage the hdd also has decent speeds

I can't scroll through photos from the ssd when is connected to s23 ultra. Same ssd as yours. Select a photo, go back and select another for viewing...

What about live pictures? Do they transfer as live photos or do we have to convert them to videos? I'm thinking about getting this for my wife but with our current storage device, it won't transfer as a live picture.

May be a stupid question, can you view pictures and watch videos straight from the phone when the ssd is plugged in? Rather than moving the files to the phone.

3:33 you better learn about samsung quick link share. Up to 2gig a day file share. U get one link that u can send to anybody. Everybody with the link can download the file. Any fone any computer any tablet. Ishare is limited with its share function
