Join Frantic as he adds a control room to the small military ship. We're also going to be adding some lights to the exterior because at the moment, the ship is so dark!

Frantic you need to add some watertight doors / hatches in the double hull so the ship dosen't flood so fast! You shold also add a lock to the "Gun Room" door.

The gun control room is called the CIC, Combat Information Command/ Center.

I like the command centre, but i would use one of the excess cameras as a backup bridge. Also adding secondary light controls on the bridge wouldnt hurt.

I think DDCV destroyer carrier you should add torpedoes to complement the awesome gun and aircraft.

I think the control room would be better served with stations for radar operator and navigator than someone watching a live feed of the front of the boat and a live feed of an empty interior space. The engine control station is fine, but the flight deck control station is kind of redundant if you'll also a station overlooking the flight deck on the bridge. The lighting controls can probably be moved to the bridge and that station replaced with a missile operator or radioman. Also it's probably time to invest in microcontrollers to get rid of the button spam.
Also if you move the bridge forward now it will be directly above the control room - which means you can add a ladder and hatch directly into the bridge from the control room. Moving the bridge forward will also give you that rear space to mount that X-mounted missile system you mentioned or some kind of CIWS system that was suggested earlier. If you still want a bridge overlooking the flight deck I think that can be incorporated into the superstructure. I believe that space behind the control room is tall enough to support a second level or at the very least a mezzanine with a slightly bumped up roof. Still would give you plenty of space to mount things.
You seem to have gotten the interior spaces right. Maybe I would add a small armory too (small as in large closest size) and aviation fuel storage (possibly above the propellers). The space behind the control room can probably serve as the place to store all equipment for deck handling and flight operations.
Other items it probably needs:
-navigation lights
-radar
-a small mast for radar, navigation lights, and antenna
-anchor
-damage control features (fire hose stations, engine room fire suppressant, dewatering pumps)

I think you should add red lights / alarms for emergencies (fires, flooding, ...).

I think you should put the misiles so they can get fired out of the Side of the ship like in a visby class corvette

The excess camera should be the security control and it should have a lockdown button and be able to have cameras in most rooms so if anyone trys to break in you can stop them

I think there should have a heli room where there is fuel and ammo for the heli like ammo and missiles

Wow she's look awesome! wish I can build like you.. mine always overheating and had to have a sprinkler fire extinguisher system inside engine room..
